Welcome aboard, Karen! Congratulations on booking your very first Disney cruise! I love planning every one of our Disney cruises, but planning my family's very first one was the most special of all, as everything was so new and we didn't realize how much magic would be in store! I'm sure you are enjoying learning all of the details that you can before you set sail. But, just know that you have so much more to look forward to that you don't even realize yet! I'm excited for your family!
Though schedules are always subject to change, currently it looks like you can expect the following attire rotation on your April 28th Disney Magic cruise:
Night 1: Cruise Casual
Night 2: Optional Dress Up
Night 3: Cruise Casual (Pirate Night)
Night 4: Cruise Casual
Each stateroom has a cooling box, as they call it, but yes, it's basically just a mini-fridge. We've always found it the perfect size to hold extra drinks, snacks, or leftovers from any room service we order. Speaking of
Room Service, did you know that it is complimentary on Disney's ships? What a perk! You might like to surprise the kids by ordering a Mickey ice cream bar or warm chocolate chip cookies and milk one night before bed. My kids love that special treat when we sail. Just be sure to bring a bit of cash, as it's traditional to tip a few dollars to the Cast Member who delivers your room service.
I hope those details help as you continue planning, Karen! Stop back again if you have other questions before you set sail! I'm happy to help!
