Ahoy, Dawn!
Well so far, I give you an A in vacation planning because you've chosen an amazing sailing to dive into Disney for the first time. Since your cruise stops at Port Canaveral for your day at the
Walt Disney World Resort, you'll have a taste of what to expect when you return for a land-based visit. You'll also get to spend a glorious day on Disney's private island, Castaway Cay! It will be an awesome inaugural voyage with Captain Mickey!
75 days prior to your departure your
online booking window will open up at midnight EST. This will allow you to reserve nursery hours for your little one, book spa treatments, reserve an adult-dining experience at Palo, schedule your Port Adventures and arrange character greeting experiences (Frozen Friends, Princess Gathering and Character Breakfast) that require tickets. The system will guide you through the process after you've completed your online check-in. Just be sure to place everything you want to reserve in your "cart" and click confirm to complete the process.
Since you'll be visiting the Walt Disney World Resort, you may want to go ahead and make an Advanced Dining Reservation for a table-service location since you are within the 180-day booking window. Reservations can be made by using the
dining reservation system online or by calling (407 939-1947.
Dawn, please let us know what other questions you have about your Bahamian voyage. My family experienced this same sailing a few years ago, and we had a blast! Cruising out of New York City by the Statute of Liberty was simply spectacular! You're going to love it!
