    Hi! We are going on our first cruise in August Disney Dream. My daughter 3 year old, She does not eat a lot table food beside she has allergy with most of the food. Are we allow to bring Homemade onboard for her??

    Welcome aboard, Christine! This August will be here before you know it and your family is surely in for a very magical cruise onboard the Disney Dream!

    Disney Cruise Line is extremely accommodating to guests with all sorts of allergies. Be sure to call Disney Cruise Line and note your daughter's allergies on your reservation. Once onboard, your head server will come to your table at that very first dinner service and speak with you about the available options, based on her allergies. Because your servers travel with you from restaurant to restaurant each evening for dinner, you will not need to re-explain this each night since they will be familiar with her needs.

    Disney Cruise Line does allow guests to bring on pre-packaged snacks, so you might want to do that to have some snacks always available for her in your stateroom. Disney also highly recommends that families with food allergies try to eat not only dinner, but also breakfast and lunch, in the main dining restaurants. Due to their larger galley size and the training of the head servers and servers there, cross-contamination is much less of an issue than in the smaller galleys of the quick service spots near the pools. With so many different options, and Disney's excellent service for those with food allergies, your daughter might just eat better than she's ever eaten before, Christine!
