    Hello! It's our first Christmas season @ DW. Will we miss anything (like Osbourne lights) in Hollywood if we have reservations at Ohana's @950pm? Park closes at 8pm on 12/2. Have to have Ohana's! And when should we leave park to make reservation? Thanks!

    Hi, Liza!  Thanks so much for your questions!  

    The Osbourne Spectacle of the Dancing Lights will usually switch on right around 6 PM.  The street can be really crowded, so it may take a full 45 minutes to really make your way around and enjoy everything.  My kids usually stand there for an hour!  If your reservation at 'Ohana is at 9:50, you really have PLENTY of time to enjoy the lights and get to the Polynesian.

    If you leave the park at closing, you should be able to make your dining reservation.  However, if you are using Walt Disney World transportation, you are going to be leaving with a bunch of your theme park companions.  It may take a while to get on the transportation.  I'd probably try to leave by 7:30 to get on Disney transportation.  That not only gets you there in plenty of time for dinner, but it may help you avoid the last minute rush for the ride back to the resorts.
