Where will it be first announced (blog, webpage, etc.) when the 2027 Fort Wilderness reservations open up?

    Hi Brian!

Thanks for visiting us at planDisney!

My favorite spots to keep an eye on for any big announcements regarding vacation packages are the Disney Parks Blog and the social media pages for Disney Parks and Walt Disney World. Of course, you can keep checking Disney World’s website, as well. There’s usually a section on the homepage with announcements and special offers.

I’m keeping my fingers crossed that we hear about 2027 vacation packages soon! Last year, vacation packages for January through October 2026 were announced on April 22, 2025. My guess is that we’ll get more information in the next couple of months.

Another thing to watch for as your trip gets closer is information on Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party! That’s one of my absolute favorite parties of the year. In 2025, Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Party dates were announced on May 12, and tickets went on sale a few days later. So, fast forward to 2027, and that may give you an idea of when to check for that information.

Of course, Fort Wilderness has all sorts of Halloween fun, too! I love seeing all of the decorations that Guests put together each year there.

I hope you have the best time! And if you have any other questions as you continue to plan, feel free to ask. We’re always happy to help!
