Hello, Naydena!
Welcome to planDisney! I always feel especially grateful when I have the chance to help an awesome parent like yourself make their visit to the parks more comfortable for their kids. Thanks so much for bringing us your question!
Oh boy, I sure wish I could listen to Disneyland music on the Disneyland Mobile App! I'd be doing that all the time! While this isn't a feature at the moment, I did want to suggest that you check out the
Disneyland webpage for Guests with Cognitive Disabilities because there are some great guides and tips there! The
attractions guide is particularly awesome because it outlines the lights, smells, motions, and other features of rides that might be difficult for guests. So helpful!
I also wondered if maybe your son would benefit from an
assisted listening system. These are typically recommended for guests with hearing loss, but I thought perhaps they might also help your son experience the music around him without as much outside noise. It might be worth
calling Disability Services to see if they have other suggestions for you, too!
I'll also say that I have successfully searched online to find many recordings of my favorite Disneyland nighttime spectaculars. So you could also try finding a recording online to play for your son while you watch. It probably won't be perfectly synchronized, but it will still be fun!
With
Lunar New Year celebrations starting this week, there will be plenty of exciting things happening during your visit, Naydena! I hope you'll take a moment to leave a wish on the Wishing Wall with your son. My wish is for you both to have an amazing time at the parks!
Keep moving forward!
Amanda
