We have two wishes: 1. Stay in a deluxe resort to take advantage of extra hours. 2. Stay in dog-friendly accommodations that are not in a hotel with wall-neighbors (cabin or villa would work). Any chance this can happen? Thanks!

Greetings Becca, and welcome to planDisney!

Thanks for stopping by as you plan your winter escape to the Most Magical Place on Earth! I'm happy to discuss Walt Disney World's paw-some pet-friendly accommodations with you.

At this time, the following Walt Disney World Resorts welcome dogs:
    *Disney's Art of Animation Resort
*Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside
*The Cabins at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort
    *Disney's Yacht Club Resort

Of these, only Disney's Yacht Club Resort Guests are eligible for Extended Evening Theme Park Hours. Unfortunately, this resort does not fulfill your wish for stand-alone accommodations. I think the Cabins at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort are more what you're looking for, so if not having neighbors is most important, I recommend booking a cabin here. You and your pup will love exploring the sprawling grounds of Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort and Campground.

While Extended Evening Hours are a unique and valuable perk for Guests staying in Disney Deluxe Resort or Disney Deluxe Villa Resort, they are only offered on select nights, which might not even overlap with your stay. I always consider these hours a bonus if I stay at an eligible resort on a night when they occur and don't plan my vacations around them. However, I take advantage of Early Theme Park Entry nearly every day I visit Walt Disney World. Guests of all Disney Resorts Collection Hotels benefit from this extra time in the theme parks, so to grant your wish, I suggest making a reservation at the Cabins at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort and Campground and getting an early start each day.

If you enjoy quiet evenings in the theme parks, as your vacation approaches, check to see if any Disney After Hours events are offered during your stay. This separately ticketed Enchanting Extra affords you bonus time in a theme park after closing. You'll experience low crowds and complimentary snacks.

I'm sorry I couldn't grant your wish, Becca, but I hope you find something that works for you and your furry friend. If there's anything else we at planDisney can do to make your stay more comfortable for you and your dog, please come back and see us again.

    Have a magical day!
    Betsy
