Unfortunately, according to the
Disneyland Daily Events Schedule, fireworks are not planned for Thursday January 30th. However,
Mickey’s Mix Magic will be presented at 9:30 pm with projections on Sleeping Beauty Castle, the facade of "it's a small world", and along Main Street U.S.A. If you haven’t seen
Mickey’s Mix Magic before, it’s a high-energy spectacular that combines projections, lasers, and lights to create a fun dance party atmosphere! The show lasts approximately 10 minutes and makes for an exciting finale to your Disney Day! My personal recommendation is to find a spot on Main Street, where you can fully immerse yourself in the experience. You’ll be surrounded by magical soundtracks, kaleidoscopic projections, and dazzling lights and lasers!
Alternatively, if you have a Park Hopper ticket or a Magic Key, you can head over to California Adventure to experience
World of Color - One. This show, presented in Paradise Bay in Pixar Pier, celebrates the feature film legacy of the Walt Disney Company. The Avengers scene, in particular, is a standout for me. I get chills watching the projections of the different heroes emerging from portals. Be sure to join the virtual queue to secure your reserved viewing location for the 9 pm performance but keep in mind that this viewing location is standing room only.
If seeing fireworks is a priority for your visit and you have some flexibility, they will be offered during the January 31st presentation of “Mickey’s Mix Magic. Be aware, as you prepare for your trip, that fireworks are weather permitting.
If you want to verify that fireworks may be offered on the night of your visit, you can review the
Entertainment Schedule. Nights featuring fireworks will be listed as Mickey's Mix Magic with Fireworks.
