Can any fireworks be seen from the Old Keywest Resort. Thank you

    Hi Amy,

Disney's Old Key West Resort is one of my favorites! With seriously spacious Disney Vacation Club Villas, hidden Mickeys galore, the tranquil and relaxed atmosphere of the Florida Keys, delicious dining opportunities, and easy access to Disney Springs by relaxing boat ride along the Sassagoula River, it can be hard to top the original Disney Vacation Club Resort.

I have stopped to watch IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth from the bridge just outside the Hospitality House and before the Peninusular Road neighborhood of the resort. While the view is somewhat obscured, and of course you will not see the incredible floats or hear the music to this very moving show, you should be able to see the higher fireworks.

During a recent stay, I could hear Star Wars: A Galactic Spectacular, but as much as I tried, I could not see it in the sky from our location in building 25. It is very possible that perhaps it is possible to catch a glimpse from another area of the Resort, but I have yet to discover it.

Come on back and let us know if you have any other questions as you plan your visit to Walt Disney World Resort. The Disney Parks Moms Panel is here to help!

    Wishing you many magical memories,

    Sally
