Welcome to planDisney, Ellen! It doesn't get any more magical than fireworks over Cinderella Castle at the end of a day at Magic Kingdom Park, so let's talk about what you can expect to see during your holiday visit!
Ellen, I've got great news! As of today, the
Park Hours and Events Calendar has been updated to show that
Minnie's Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks Show will be lighting up the skies in Magic Kingdom Park at 8 PM nightly from December 21, 2024, through December 29, 2024. This fireworks show, which prior to December 21 can only be seen during
Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party, features a dazzling nighttime display set to the score of your favorite Christmas tunes, and is sure to make you feel merry and bright! While most guests prefer to watch the fireworks from Main Street, U.S.A., they can be viewed from all around Magic Kingdom, including Liberty Square, Fantasyland, and Tomorrowland if you're looking for a less crowded spot!
With your arrival date of December 29, I also wanted to mention that I noticed on the Park Hours and Events Calendar for December 30 and 31 at Magic Kingdom Park, there would be Fantasy in the Sky fireworks at 6:30 PM and 11:50 PM and on December 31 at EPCOT, Cheers to the New Year: A Sparkling Celebration is scheduled for 11:54 PM. Both of these are limited-time offerings to ring in 2025! Keep in mind, Ellen, that offerings and times are always subject to change, so keep an eye on the calendar and follow along on the
Disney Parks Blog as your trip gets closer for the most up-to-date information about holiday celebrations and fireworks!
Ellen, I hope this is helpful and that you have a fantastic time celebrating the season at the Walt Disney World Resort! If you have any other planning questions before your visit, come on back to
planDisney at any time and let us know!
Happy Holidays,
Alison
