Hi there Susan!
It looks like you have a magical day planned at
Disney's Hollywood Studios tomorrow!
While there are not currently any
fireworks shows per se at Disney's Hollywood Studios, there are a couple of nighttime shows you might enjoy. Both take place in the area in front of Grauman's Chinese Theater (where
Mickey and Minnie's Runaway Railway is located) and use the facade of the theater and nearby buildings as giant movie screens.
Disney Movie Magic is currently shown each evening at 8:40 pm. This 10-minute show highlights iconic moments from familiar movies, such as Mary Poppins, Pirates of the Caribbean, and other live-action Disney films.
Wonderful World of Animation follows at 9:00 pm. Although this show is much smaller in scale than
Disney Enchantment at Magic Kingdom Park or
Harmonious at EPCOT, it is a charming show focusing on animated classics like Frozen and Coco and includes music, lights, and a few bursts of fireworks as well.
Although you'll be able to see these shows from anywhere in the courtyard area in front of the theater, I suggest not getting too close so you'll have a better panoramic view of the scenes. Look for the projection towers in the courtyard (they're rather non-descript beige huts)-- right around there is my favorite viewing spot.
Did you know, you can find the times for fireworks and other entertainment in the
My Disney Experience mobile app? From the home screen, scroll down until you see the tile with "Today's Showtimes". It is a great way to be able to plan out your day with all the information right in the palm of your hand!
I hope you have a wonderful day at Disney's Hollywood Studios! Please come see us again if you have any additional questions. We are always happy to help.
