Hiya, D!
Thanks for bringing your question to planDisney. I just might be
Happily Ever After's #1 fan so I fully appreciate you wanting to confirm the schedule ahead of your trip. My family watched this incredible display from 5 different vantage points on our summer visit, and I never got tired of the bursts over Cinderella Castle or singing along to the heartwarming soundtrack (though my kids would argue that they definitely got sick of my singing).
At the time of my writing, the
Hours & Entertainment Calendar is only published through December 14, 2024. That doesn't mean that the fun stops on that date, just that park hours and showtimes have not been released yet. In my experience, this show happens nightly except on dates when a separately ticketed event is scheduled. Looking at the current calendar you'll see "No performance today" listed for select dates, which are when Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party or Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party is scheduled. On those evenings, Magic Kingdom Park closes at 6 p.m. to daytime guests, and a different seasonal fireworks show is performed for guests with event tickets.
You'll see
Disney's Not-So-Spooky Spectacular on the calendar for select dates through October 31, later replaced by
Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks Show on select nights beginning November 8. Keep in mind that entertainment including parades and fireworks is always subject to weather-related cancelation and/or cancelation for other unforeseen circumstances. This is pretty rare, but I just want to make sure you are aware.
I hope that clears up any confusion, D. Keep an eye on the event calendar as your trip nears for the most up-to-date information and come back and see us again with any additional questions. If you'll be staying at a Disney Resorts Collection hotel during your January visit, be sure to take advantage of
complimentary water park admission on your check-in date. This is a perk debuting in January 2025, and I can't wait to take advantage of it, too!
Wishing you a wonderful vacation!
Magic and memories,
Amy
