    can you see any of the fireworks from downtown disney? if so, which ones. We will be there on our first night on 6/29. anything special going on downtown at night?

    Welcome to summer and vacation!

    You might be able to see the tips of fireworks but that is doubtful. The two closest parks with fireworks are Epcot and Disney's Hollywood Studios. Both of these fireworks take place closer to the stage they are released from than in Magic Kingdom where they fly as high as Tinkerbell!

    I love Downtown Disney for a first night. There are great restaurants to enjoy - my family likes Wolfgang Puck and Earl of Sandwich - as well as fun shopping. There are always a dj and contests happening at Downtown Disney in two locations. The first is over by World of Disney and the second is by Planet Hollywood and the West Side. Both offer fun games and music for your whole family to enjoy.

    The World of Disney is a great place to pick up last minute items you might want for the park like a costume or autograph book for the characters. It also offers discounts to Disney Vacation Club members as well.
