Guests watching Luminous, a nighttime fireworks display, over the water, with colorful bursts lighting up the sky.

Can you see any fireworks from Disney Springs?

Hi there, Ruth, and welcome to planDisney!

A fireworks display is kind of like the cherry on top of a Disney vacation day regardless if you took it easy at a water park, experienced thrills at the theme parks, or slept in at your Resort hotel. It's the most magical way to think back on the adventures you've had so far. Let's get right into how you can perhaps view them from Disney Springs and beyond.

First, Disney Springs is my family's--especially my husband's--favorite hangout spot at Disney World. It's free to enter by car, boat, or bus, the shopping options are pretty amazing, and the restaurants are some of the best on property. I understand why you'd want to spend a part of your trip exploring that area.

At the moment, all of the nighttime shows are at the Disney theme parks. Although the viewing spots at Disney Springs are not ideal, you can get a taste of them there. (Hakuna Matata! I'll give you other spots in a moment!) However, you can see them from a distance at places like the open-air, top floor of the Coca-Cola Store, the back patio of Summerhouse on the Lake, lakeside near the food trucks, or high in the sky inside of the Aerophile air balloon. Remember, fireworks and these viewing locations are weather permitting.

Here are some of my go-to places to view fireworks shows outside of the theme parks:
-Dahlia Lounge at the Gran Destino Tower at Coronado Springs
-California Grill's observation deck at the Contemporary Resort
-Topolino's Terrace at the Riviera Resort
-Wailulu and the Polynesian Village Resort's beach
-The viewing area near Narcoosee's at the Grand Floridian Resort

AN EXTRA GEM: Many of the above restaurants pipe in the show's music, which means that you'll feel like you're right there inside of the magic (with fewer guests at your side). I think that my favorite experience outside of the theme parks is on the rooftop of Topolino's Terrace watching EPCOT's Luminous: The Symphony of Us

Even if you only catch a glimpse of one of the Disney World fireworks shows, it'll be worth it. I hope that you have an amazing vacation next month, Ruth. Please don't hesitate to revisit us here at planDisney if you need any more Disney Destinations tips and tricks!

    Magic always,
