I’m glad to hear that you want to make plans to see fireworks during your vacation. Dining at
Tomorrowland Skyline Terrace is a great choice if you’d like to relax and enjoy snacks, desserts, and drinks while taking in views of Tomorrowland! This is the best option if you want a place to take a break from the hustle and bustle of the theme park because you’re welcome to stay for the entire evening or come and go anytime between 6:30 p.m. and 10:00 p.m. You'll have a great view of the
Matterhorn Bobsleds attraction and the fireworks higher in the sky from this balcony, but the lower pyrotechnics, laser effects, and projections on Sleeping Beauty Castle likely won’t be visible. Fireworks occur only on select nights, so be sure to check the Entertainment Schedule before you book. Also, please be aware that the fireworks show is always subject to change or cancellation due to weather conditions.
Another option is to book a
Fantasmic! Dining Package. Fantasmic! lights up the night at Disneyland Park and it’s my all-time favorite show. I booked a reservation for my family to enjoy the Premium Dining Package at Blue Bayou Restaurant during our trip later this month so we can enjoy a tasty meal and then watch the show from a separate reserved viewing area later that evening. If you plan accordingly and make a reservation that includes a voucher for the first showing of
Fantasmic!, you can stay in the reserved viewing area to enjoy the fireworks if they are scheduled for that night. It’s a great place to see not only the fireworks but also the projections that accompany the show on a water screen in front of Tom Sawyer Island.
One last option is to book a
River Belle Terrace Dining Package. With the Premium Package, you’ll have a three-course dinner and then watch the evening’s first performance of Fantasmic! right from your table on the outdoor terrace. There is also a Standard Package that includes brunch or dinner and access to a separate reserved viewing location for one of the two Fantasmic! performances.
