Does a finger print scan stay with the person a lifetime or do you need to provide a new one each separate visit?

Welcome to planDisney, Robert! Thanks for stopping by with your question about the Walt Disney World Resort.

I'm happy to report that your fingerprint scan will only last for the life of your theme park tickets. Once you've used up all the days on an active ticket, that's it! When you buy a new series of tickets/days or a new Walt Disney World Annual pass the system will reset.

There's a running joke in my family that I can never remember which finger I used for my tickets. Truth is, I can't! So, whenever I get it right at the entrance on my first try, my family does a happy dance for me!

Speaking of theme park tickets, when you're ready to start planning your next visit, be sure to take a look at the ticket offers that may be available to you. Mickey and his friends offer up deals on theme park tickets and Disney Resort Collection Hotel stays all the time!

Robert, thanks again for stopping by. Please feel free to come back to see us if you have any more questions. It's always our pleasure to help you with all the details of your next vacation!
