Is there a way to find out transportation between the resort that we are staying in and certain places that we have reservations at for breakfast and lunch? Also travel time between parks?

    Hi Nicole!

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. A fellow Moms Panelist just taught me about a wonderful feature in the My Disney Experience app that I think is exactly what you are looking for!

If you download the My Disney Experience mobile app onto your phone there are a ton of awesome features, but the one I just learned about gives you directions and travel options between various locations with estimated travel times. Once you download and open the app, along the top bar you will see icons for 'Attractions', 'Characters', etc. Scroll through this and select 'Resort Hotels'. A map of Disney property should pop up. From here select the resort you are staying at then select 'Get Directions'. You'll see in the 'From' option you can type in any Disney Resort hotel, dining location or theme park. The double arrow on the side will flip these two locations as well. You'll then see icons for the various options of transportation, monorail, bus or boat, and an estimated travel time. If one of the icons is missing, it's simply not an option between those two destinations. At the bottom if you click on 'See Transit Directions' you'll actually have the option for step by step turns to get you between the two different locations.

For travel between the theme parks or any other destinations you can simply change your 'To' and 'From' and you'll be ready to explore. This is a wonderful little tool and one I'll certainly be utilizing on my next trip to Walt Disney World! Please let me know if you have any other questions and I hope you have a magical trip.
