Hi Nancy! So happy you brought your question to us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel!
From buses to monorails, you can find so many ways to get around the
Walt Disney World Resort! The complimentary transportation available to guests at Disney Resort hotels makes it easier for you and your family to travel to and from all 4 theme parks, 2 water parks and Disney Springs. You can find schedules for all the different types of transportation from your resort to the parks under
Resort Transportation on the Walt Disney World website.
But before you hop on the monorail, there are a few things you should know. Transportation for the day begins 45 minutes before the Disney theme parks open and will run up to an hour after theme park closing times. At
Disney Springs buses tend to run later, usually until 2:00 AM.
My family uses the
ferryboat or water taxi service at the Magic Kingdom park all the time! The boat ride from
Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground to the park is one of my daughter's rides of the day! Sometimes when we're lucky we catch a glimpse of the
Electrical Water Pageant on our way back to the resort after an exciting day at the Magic Kingdom.
I hope this helps with your vacation planning! Feel free to stop by anytime with more questions!
Veronica
