    How do I find out what time parades are in the parks? We are traveling May 16th through May 21st and trying to find out when parades are. Also, any suggestions for first time with granddaughter - age 4 on a limited budget - but able to provide the magic.

    Jacalyn,

    First. here are some general instructions on how you can get the daily show times;

    1. Highlight the "Plan" section at the top of the Walt Disney World website.
    2. When the drop down menu appears, simple select the park for which you want to check for show times ("Magic Kingdom Park Hours" for instance).
    3. Once the calendar shows, you can adjust to whatever month you are planning to visit by clicking on the menu to the upper right of the calendar. It typically shows the current month and the next 6 months worth of information.
    4. When you click on an actual date, it will show you the schedule for the park, and major show and event times.

    Don't think that you have to break the bank to make the magic happen. Just being there is magic enough. But definitely take her to get her mouse ears at "Le Chapeau" just inside the Magic Kingdom. Located to the right as you enter, this is kind of a rite of passage, and will give her an affordable (typically under $10) souvenir to cherish the rest of her life.

    I am glad to answer any follow-up questions!

    Have a magical vacation!
