Hi there, Bonni, and welcome to planDisney!
This is a practically perfect time to begin thinking about what character dining experiences and entertainment options that you want to explore when you’re at Walt Disney World Resort in November. Your time to make plans for many dining options and
Enchanting Extras will start very soon. I am more than happy to point you in the right direction.
You’ll be delighted to hear that for many of the character dining experiences don’t require any tickets. You’ll simply pay for your meal. Many of them are at Disney Resorts Collection hotels around property. Some of my family’s favorites are
‘Ohana’s character breakfast at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort and
1900 Park Fare at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. The only caveat to this is if the restaurant is inside of one of the four theme parks. In that case, you’ll need a valid theme park admission. Feel free to book it before you’ve gotten your ticket, but you’ll absolutely need one by the day of your reserved dining experience.
AN EXTRA GEM: For dining shows like
Hoop Dee Doo Musical Revue and the princess dining experience called
Cinderella’s Royal Table, you’ll have to pay for these upfront on the day of booking. Trust me, these options are 100% worth it.
AN EXTRA GEM: You can find a complete list of all dining experiences at Walt Disney World Resort on this
Dining webpage. The reservation window for making your advance dining reservations in the My Disney Experience App or online is 60 days before your arrival date. If you’re staying at a Disney Resorts Collection hotel, you can also make reservations for up to 10 days of your vacation on that 60-day prior-to-arrival date. I love that perk!
There are various shows around Walt Disney World Resort. If you mean entertainment offerings in the theme parks like
The Festival of the Lion King at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park or the nighttime spectacular
Fantasmic! at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, those are included with those particular theme parks’ tickets. If you are asking about additional shows like the
Cirque du Soleil Drawn to Life experience at Disney Springs, you’ll want to buy these tickets separately from your theme park tickets.
I’m sending pixie dust your way, Bonni! I have a feeling that you have The Most Magical Vacation ahead. If you have any other questions about specific shows or restaurants while you’re planning,
revisit us here at planDisney. See you real soon!
Magic always,
LeAndra
