Welcome aboard, Danielle! There is
so much included in the cruise that you'll have activities to choose from all day and night! This is a vacation fit for everyone in the family!
You didn't mention which ship or itinerary you'll be enjoying, otherwise I'd give you details on your special theme nights, but don't worry! It's easy to find! Most itineraries, with the exception of Alaska, and a few other specialty sailings, include
Pirate Night, so it's a safe bet to assume that you're in for all sorts of swashbuckling fun that night. There are plenty of pirate accessories and costumes to purchase onboard, or bring your own costumes and accessories for your family. Pirate activities begin during the day and include a pirate-themed dinner too, but it's the big Mickey's Pirates IN the Caribbean Deck party that night that is the most fun, and something my family and I look forward to each time with sail with Disney.
Certain other cruises are themed to include a Marvel Day at Sea or Star Wars Day at Sea. Your itinerary would specify that when you book. Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween sailings are select weeks in the fall and Very Merrytime Sailings leading up to Christmas. However, once it's time for online check-in, (75 days prior to sailing for first time Disney cruisers, or 90 or more days prior for those who have sailed with Disney before), you'll be able to log into your cruise reservation and choose activities like
Port Adventures and more. On each day listed there, you'll see any shipboard special activities too, so you'll be able to plan ahead on what to pack!
Please stop back if you have more questions, Danielle. Enjoy planning this exciting adventure!
