Welcome to planDisney, Suzanne! I'm happy to give you some food for thought!
Disneyland Park's
Rancho Del Zocalo was initially known as Casa de Fritos, where the Doritos brand tortilla chips were first served. Now, the restaurant is known for serving Mexican comfort food that's satisfying and filling. The Disneyland website does not list nutritional facts on its online menus. However, for special dietary needs, you can email Special.Diets@disneyland.com, and the
Special Diets team will be happy to help you navigate the dining process. Since menus can change, it is recommended that you contact them about two weeks before your visit for accuracy.
Another tip that may help is that you can often customize your
Mobile Orders from a drop-down menu in the
Disneyland Mobile app. This makes it simple to leave off higher sodium ingredients, such as cheese (or sub-out flour tortillas for corn). You can also stick to the Kids' Disney Check meals, which are generally healthier and lower in sodium. Another recommended entree is the Cauliflower Tacos, which come with a pineapple cabbage slaw, and are beloved by vegetarians and meat-eaters alike. After dining, head to nearby El Zócalo Park for the
Día de los Muertos display (you might even encounter Miguel from "Coco")!
Enjoy celebrating with your friends, Suzanne!
