Can I find out which restaurants have dairy free items on there menu?

Thanks for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Lisa!

While there isn’t a specific list of products that are only dairy-free at Walt Disney World Resort, I would recommend checking out the new guide to Plant-Based Cuisine Options for an idea of where to start. Each of the items on this list are free of any animal ingredients (including meat, dairy and honey). When you’re at Walt Disney World Resort, you’ll want to look for the green leaf symbol on the menu as the designation for these options, but you can also ask a cast member at any table service or quick-service restaurant for the list of ingredients for the items on their menu. These ingredients lists are typically kept in a three-ring binder at each dining location. For table service meals, you can also ask to speak to a chef, and they may be able to modify something on the menu to make it dairy-free or may be able to concoct something special for you. Additionally, anything you see labeled as “Plant-Based” on the menus in your My Disney Experience mobile app should also be dairy-free.

My favorite dairy-free treats are the sweets you’ll find throughout Walt Disney World Resort. You’ll find dairy-free ice cream at the Plaza Ice Cream Parlor at Magic Kingdom Park and Hollywood Scoops at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. These aren't explicitly listed on the menu, but just let the Cast Member at the register know you'd like a dairy-free option. You can also ask for a dairy-free milkshake at the Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater Restaurant, 50's Prime Time Cafe or Tune-In Lounge. The iconic Dole Whip is also dairy-free! Additional dairy-free options are available at the Haagen-Dazs Kiosk at Disney Springs West Side and Erin McKenna's Bakery NYC. If you’re looking for grab-and-go snacks, any of the “Enjoy Life” products and many of the “Snacks With Character” items are also dairy-free.

If you’d like specific recommendations based on a particular restaurant, Theme Park or Walt Disney World Resort hotel, stop back by and let me know. I’d love to help you find something you’re sure to love!
