    Where can I find out when the parks in general become decorated for Christmas?It seems the special events (candlelit proc. etc) are late Nov/Dec but would the parks be decorated in early November? Would there be Christmas-themed parades?

    Hi Catherine!

    Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. As soon as Halloween ends, Cast Members will begin working their magic to dress up the theme parks for the holidays. The entire process is quite impressive. The remarkable transformation is done virtually overnight by a very talented, and incredibly organized, group of Cast Members. 

    The first Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party of this year is on November 7. Guests should be able to see many holiday decorations going up the first few days of November. For exact dates, I would suggest keeping an eye on the Disney Parks Blog for holiday announcements. You can also bookmark the Holidays at Walt Disney World Resort event page, and check back for start dates of holiday events.
