Hi Kathleen!
Welcome to planDisney!
To help plan your park days, you’ll find park hours, parade times, and nighttime entertainment showtimes on the
Hours and Events Calendar on Disney World’s website. That calendar usually updates about 2 months in advance. So, for your trip, I’d check the calendar around the end of September or early October.
Let’s chat about a couple of events happening around that time that will give you an idea of what to expect at the parks, though! That way, you can still start daydreaming about what your time at the parks will look like.
First up, Magic Kingdom will be hosting
Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party on select nights. Whenever there’s a Christmas party there, the park will close at 6 PM to regular park guests without a party ticket. That also means that the
Starlight parade and
Happily Ever After fireworks will not be shown on those nights.
You can expect Magic Kingdom to close early for Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party on the following dates in 2025:
November 7, 10, 11, 13, 14, 16, 18, 20, 21, 25, 26, 28, and 30.
December 2, 4, 5, 7, 9, 11, 12, 14, 16, 18, 19, and 21.
Over at Hollywood Studios, there will be a holiday party called
Jollywood Nights on select nights. While the park closes at 7 PM to regular park guests on party nights, you’ll still be able to watch
Fantasmic before heading out of the park if you’d like!
Hollywood Studios will be hosting Jollywood Nights on the following dates in 2025:
November 8, 15, 17, 22, 24, and 29.
December 1, 6, 10, 13, 17, 20, and 22.
If you want to add either of these special events to your itinerary, tickets are on sale now! But if you won’t be attending the parties, I hope this gives you an idea about what park hours will look like on some days of your trip.
If you have any other questions as you continue to plan, feel free to let us know! We’re always happy to help!
