Hey there, Sherry! Thank you for bringing your question to planDisney!
There are quite a few options for traveling from Orlando International Airport to your
Disney Resorts Collection hotel.
If you are interested in a bus shuttle service, Mears Transportation is a large transportation company in Orlando that operates taxis, limousine and car service, and Mears Connect bus service to Walt Disney World Resort hotels. Mears has been transporting Guests to Walt Disney World Resort for many years. A new shuttle service, The Sunshine Flyer, recently began operating bus service between the airport and Walt Disney World Resort. A quick internet search for either company will lead you to their websites. Shuttle service departs from the ground transportation area located on Level 1 in Terminal B of the airport.
Ride-share service, such as Uber or Lyft, is popular in the greater Orlando area and would provide direct service to your resort hotel.
Another transportation option would be a private town car or limousine service. While I have not personally used this service, I know many of my panelist friends have used Happy Limo for their transportation needs. An internet search will turn up quite a few car service companies that provide airport transportation in Orlando.
I like renting a car for my vacations. The drive from the airport to Walt Disney World Resort is a quick 30 minutes of highway driving, and signage around Walt Disney World Resort makes it easy to find your way. Having a vehicle also makes it easy to pick up groceries or other vacation essentials upon arrival.
I hope this helps! Please let us know if you have any additional questions. Be sure to stop by the
food studios at the
EPCOT International Festival of the Arts during your visit. Snacking my way around the 'World is one of my favorite vacation activities! Enjoy!
