Hi Mary,
Disney's Polynesian Resort is one of the best hangouts in Disney World. The vibe of the islands, food, and even the smells transport you to an island oasis. Both
Kona Cafe and
Kona Island have fabulous food and drink options where you are sure to find something for everyone in your dining party.
You can click on this link for the
Kona Cafe menu. No trip to Kona Cafe is complete without the Pineapple-Coconut Bread Pudding, so make sure whatever you order that you leave room for this dessert. If you like sushi, the Shrimp Fire Cracker Roll is so good. If sushi is not your thing, they have Glazed Chicken Wings and burgers that are delicious.
If you are looking for a quick bite before you jump on the monorail the
Kona Island menu has several options that will fill you up and amp you up for day. I love the Iced Caramel Macchiato and would argue it is one of the best coffee drinks at Disney World. All of the pastries, muffins, and scones are great. We have tried most of the items in their breakfast display case and they are all worth every penny.
Happy Planning
