Where do I find out about the hotels at Disney World are planning for New Year's Eve? 2 years ago we were surprised to see Pop Century had a NYE party. We knew nothing about it. I would like to know all our options this year.

I'm so glad you stopped by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question, Janice! I'd love to help make sure your upcoming trip is a blast!

I can't think of a better place to ring in the New Year than Walt Disney World Resort! Although I usually celebrate by live-streaming the Fantasy in the Sky fireworks from my couch, I'm so happy you'll be able to experience the magic in person. One thing I know about Disney is that they always try to add extra pixie dust to your stay whenever they can. It's possible that some resorts, such as Disney's Pop Century Resort, will have unpublicized activities planned for Guests. However, the Disney Parks Blog recently posted an article outlining all the officially announced festivities, and there are some fantastic new additions to the list!

If you have Pixar fans in your midst, I'd recommend attending the Pixar Party: A New Year's Celebration at Disney's Contemporary Resort for a family-friend event. There will be a dance party with your favorite Pixar pals, including Woody, Buzz, and Mr. and Mrs. Incredible. This popular event has already sold out on December 31, but there is still availability on December 30. For a more sophisticated experience, the Contemporary also offers Disney Countdown to Midnight: A New Year's Eve Celebration. At the end of the evening, Guests from both parties are invited to watch Magic Kingdom Park's Festival in the Sky fireworks from the resort's private balcony.

Walt Disney World's brand new Gran Destino Tower has some of the best fireworks views on property from its rooftop restaurant, Toledo – Tapas, Steak & Seafood. Here you can enjoy a Spanish inspired New Year's feast while hanging out with the Big Cheese himself! When the clock strikes midnight, there'll be a toast with traditional Spanish Cava Champagne. Nearby, there will be another rooftop celebration at the soon to open Disney's Riviera Resort. An Italian Masquerade Ball is the theme of this celebration to be held at Topolino's.

Disney's BoardWalk also gets in on the fun with events at Atlantic Dance Hall and Flying Fish. And for the ultimate elegant New Year's experience, look no further than Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, where you can enjoy special themed dinners at Narcoossee's and Victoria & Albert's. To book any of these events, call Disney Dining at (407) 939-3463.

I hope you have a magical vacation, Janice!
