Hi Tatiana, and thanks for bringing your question to planDisney. Your visit to the Most Magical Place on Earth will be here before you know it, so let’s figure out where to find your favorite god of the Underworld and his sidekicks!
Unfortunately, Hades, Pain, and Panic don’t have a regular meet and greet at Disney World. Sometimes I’ve seen them during
runDisney races and at
Disney Vacation Club member events, like Moonlight Magic. These meet and greets aren’t usually announced ahead of time, so it’ll take a bit of luck to see them. Occasionally I’ve seen these rarer characters make random appearances in
EPCOT, so you never know who you might run into!
If you’ll be back at Disney World later this year, there are some other opportunities to see Hades, Pain, and Panic. This summer, a new villains show is debuting at Hollywood Studios—
Unfairly Ever After. From the concept art released so far, it looks like Hades may be making an appearance!
And this Fall, you can usually find Hades, Pain, and Panic at
Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. Last year, Pain and Panic greeted guests during the
Boo-To-You Halloween Parade and Hades contributed to a special potion the Sanderson Sisters were brewing in the
Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular! Keep an eye on the
Disney Parks Blog for more details on this year’s party and the opening date for Disney Villains: Unfairly Ever After!
Since you’re visiting in May, here are a few Hercules gems that you can find year-round at Disney World.
At
Magic Kingdom, there’s a Hades poster in the queue for
Mickey’s PhilharMagic advertising his performance of Torch Songs. And, in the evening, Go the Distance has a prominent place towards the end of the
Happily Ever After nighttime spectacular. It always makes me a little teary-eyed!
Another fun reference is over at
Saratoga Springs Resort. The lobby features different Disney horses and this is where you’ll find a giant mural with Pegasus! If you’re planning to visit Disney Springs, you can walk or take a
boat to Saratoga Springs Resort to see this Hercules tribute.
And if you ever find yourself at
Disneyland for the Halloween season, Hades, Pain, and Panic have been part of their
Oogie Boogie Bash in the past. Hades even had his own treat trail last year.
I’m wishing on a star that you get to meet Hades, Pain, and Panic one day! In the meantime, don’t hesitate to visit us again at planDisney if you have any other questions.
