Hi Margaret!
Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I understand the importance of finding safe and delicious food for those with special dietary needs. My husband is allergic to shellfish, and our son is allergic to all dairy. We have successfully eaten across the Walt Disney World Resort, so I am happy to help you navigate!
Walt Disney World has an excellent reputation for providing plentiful and delicious options for their Guests. By being committed to providing a variety of culinary options, most Disney chefs, restaurants and quick-service locations can accommodate most dietary (and often lifestyle!) needs. An allergy-free menu is available onsite at most dining locations, but please always mention your allergy upon check-in at the restaurant.
In doing some resEARch, I found quite a few gluten-free options around the Park, including gluten-free pasta at
Trattoria al Forno, meatloaf at
50’s Prime Time Café, fish & chips at
Raglan Road (with a dedicated fryer), and churros, yes, I said CHURROS at
Nomad Lounge in Disney’s Animal Kingdom Park.
If you have any additional questions, feel free to contact the
Special Diets team at Special.Diets@DisneyWorld.com at least 14 days in advance of your dining reservation. They will help you navigate the dining process.
Margaret, I hope this was helpful. Feel free to stop back by with any additional questions. In the meantime...Bon Appétit!
