Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Veronica! I leave for The Most Magical Place on Earth in a few short days, and I'm already compiling a mental list of all the snacks I'm planning to consume during my "race-cation." I better pack my stretchy pants along with my running shoes (and my favorite
Disney Snacks T-Shirt)!
Unfortunately, since the list of snacks at the Walt Disney World Resorts is continuously changing, there is not a published list. When you arrive, look for the purple DDP icon on menu boards to identify which items are
Disney Dining Plan eligible snacks. Most Disney Dining Plan snack credits are valued at around $5, so I try to maximize my value by scouting out snacks that are in this price range or higher. A few years ago, my Prince Charming thought he was being helpful by buying water bottles for our entire crew using our snack credits. I quickly gave him a crash course on Disney Snacking 101. Not all snacks are created equally...lesson learned!
Here are my top theme park snacks at Walt Disney World Resort:
*Dole Whip Floats-
Aloha Isle*Ice Cream Cookie Sandwiches-
Plaza Ice Cream Parlor*Cheeseburger Spring Rolls- Adventureland Egg Roll Wagon outdoor vendor
*Pastries -
Les Halles Boulangerie*Anything in the bakery case from Karamell-Küche
*Fries with Pulled Pork & Cheese-
Flame Tree Barbeque*Blueberry Cream Cheese Mousse-
Satu'li Canteen*Night Blossom-
Pongu Pongu *Blue Milk-
The Milk StandSince you'll be traveling during the
Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival, know that the
Outdoor Kitchens are a great place to indulge in delicious snacks, and many of them are DDP snack credit options. Most items are hearty enough for a light meal, and they are often upwards of $6, making them a fantastic use of your snack entitlements.
I hope this gives you food for thought, Veronica! Please write back if there's anything else we can help you with!
