Hi Laura,
Thanks for sailing by planDisney with your question! I'm thrilled that you have a Disney Cruise Line vacation in your future. I recently sailed out of
Port Everglades in Fort Lauderdale on a dreamy cruise; you are going to love how convenient the Disney Cruise Line terminal is!
Once you board
Disney Magic, I'm sure you will be looking forward to getting to know your fellow cruisers. It is fun to meet so many other interesting and friendly Guests aboard a Disney cruise! Fish extenders are a popular way for Guests to get to know each other. To find a group, I suggest you try a search on Facebook. You can enter in your cruise date and ship and see if a group has been created. This may turn up a group that is focused on the cruise itself and you can ask that group if anyone is interested in fish extenders.
I'm always impressed by the creativity of my fellow Guests when planning out the little gifts they share. Keep in mind that this activity is not sponsored by Disney Cruise Line and that fish extenders must abide by
Disney Cruise Line policies. My friend
Prince shared some helpful information regarding fish extender dimensions that I encourage you to review. Finally, remember that Guests are not permitted to hide any items around the ship, so stick to the fish extenders outside other stateroom doors when sharing your gifts and items. I hope you have fun and make some new Disney-loving friends!
Laura, speaking of making friends, on your day at sea be sure to check your
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app for some of my favorite events, such as trivia and bingo. They are a perfect opportunity to get to know your fellow cruisers and the Crew Members are the perfect hosts!
I hope this information helps to extend the fun on your vacation! Let us know if you have other questions.
Wishing you many magical moments,
Shannon
