How can I find Family and friends and link us with the linking code?

    Welcome to planDisney, Mary!

Heigh-ho, heigh-ho, it's off to Walt Disney World Resort you go! In only a matter of DAYS, you'll be standing right in the middle of Main Street, U.S.A. with a churro in hand and the beauty of Cinderella Castle all decked out in her 50th Anniversary Celebration finest in your view. I bet you can't wait!

Planning all the details of your magical adventure is a whole lot easier when everyone in your travel party is connected through My Disney Experience, and I am more than happy to help you navigate this process. You can view your current Family & Friends list in your My Disney Experience app or from a browser. In the mobile app, click the three horizontal lines in the bottom right corner and click on “My Profile.” Then, click “Family & Friends List." From a browser, hover your mouse over “My Disney Experience” at the top right of the menu bar and click on “My Family & Friends.” If you find that some members of your family or traveling party are not listed, you can easily invite them to plan together using the steps below.

Open the My Disney Experience App and click on the three horizontal lines in the bottom right corner. Scroll down to the bottom of the page and select "My Profile" from the list of options. Click on "Show My Linking Code." This will generate a unique QR code that your family and friends can scan with their smart device (using the camera) to quickly connect your accounts.

If you would rather do this from a browser, first access your Family & Friends list in your My Disney Experience account. Scroll all the way to the bottom of your list and click on "Add a Guest." Three options will appear on the screen that allow you to add someone to your list - through your connected Guests, from a Disney Resorts Collection hotel reservation, or by entering their name and age. Choose the method that works best for you, then walk through the remaining steps to invite them to plan together.

If you have any trouble linking your accounts, call the friendly Cast Members at the My Disney Experience and MagicBands line at (407) 939-4357 for assistance. They should be able to sprinkle a little pixie dust and link everyone faster than you can say hakuna matata!

Did you know you can hunt for Disney-themed eggs across EPCOT as part of the Egg-Stravaganza Scavenger Hunt? It's a limited time offering at the EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival that's sure to be an EGGcellent time!

Mary, I hope this helps, but feel free to stop by planDisney again if we can clarify anything for you. Now, it's time to get your ears on and start packing those bags, because you're going to Walt Disney World Resort!

    See ya real soon,
    Alyssa
