Hey there, Willie! Welcome, and thank you for your question.
The current
Military Discount for accommodations at
Walt Disney World does not include
campsites at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort. They do, however, include the
Cabins at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort. These are pretty awesome accommodations that sleep up to six, and include a full kitchen, a beautiful deck, and even a charcoal grill to do some delicious meals at "home."
This offer goes through December 19, 2018, and while I know the offer has been extended for 2019, I haven't seen the specifics yet to know if the campsites will be included. More details about that should be coming soon.
In order to qualify for the discount, you have to be 100% Permanent Service Connected Disabled (it will say DAVPRM on your military ID card). If you are not DAVPRM, you may still qualify for stays and discounts through Shades of Green, a military owned resort right there in the middle of Walt Disney World. You can be medically retired or 100% disabled (not permanent) and qualify to stay at Shades of Green. Also, in January and September, the resort allows all current and former members of the military who were honorably discharged and can present a DD-214 to stay, even if you wouldn't normally qualify.
I wish you good luck in planning your Walt Disney World vacation, Willie!
Anna
