Hello there, Nicole! Welcome to planDisney! Thank you so much for taking the time to reach out and asking your wonderful Walt Disney World Resort vacation question!
Since my family is comprised of major foodies, we love using our trips to Walt Disney World Resort to sample as much of the cuisine as possible! We love traveling back to our classic dining spots as well as trying all of the seasonal dishes available only during select times of the year!
When choosing to dine at table service locations, the best way to secure your spot is with
advanced dining reservations! These reservations allow you to book a table for a specific day at a specific time. With some of the more popular dining locations, availability can go relatively quickly so it’s important to have a game plan in mind prior to making your reservations!
Guests are able to make advanced dining reservations up to 60 days in advance while Guests staying with the
Disney Resorts Collection may make their reservations up to 60 days in advance plus the length of their stay. This is a great perk that gives you a bit of an advantage when making your selections! Typically, reservations open up at approximately 5:45 am Eastern Standard Time. It’s very important to make the time zone distinction since these couple of hours can make a huge difference in snagging those popular reservations!
When making my own advanced dining reservations, I tend to set an alarm for 20 minutes before reservations open. This gives me a chance to get caffeinated and log into my
My Disney Experience account. That last step can also shave off a few seconds when making your reservations so it’s one of my top tips when trying to make your reservations quickly and efficiently!
Best of luck on snagging all your “must-dos” for your vacation to Walt Disney World Resort! Be sure to let us know if we can provide any other assistance as well!
