Welcome aboard, Jamie!
Sailing with
Disney Cruise Line is my family's favorite way to vacation. Not only to do have the most amazing floating resort in the world on the ship, but we unpack just once and are magically transported to a new port each day! It's the way to travel for sure!
Hopefully you'll find the perfect
Disney Cruise itinerary for your family and you'll book it and be all set to enjoy all of the magic that is included in every Disney Cruise Line vacation. However, if you have to cancel for some reason, Disney lays out the
cancellation policy very clearly, so it's a good idea to check that out before you book your trip. As you'll see on that webpage, the cancellation policy is different based on length of cruise, itinerary, and if you're a Concierge guest. While the details are subject to change, currently, for
Concierge Staterooms, no matter how long the sailing, canceling the cruise 90 or more days prior to sailing will result in just the loss of your deposit. 89-56 days prior to sailing, you'll still be paying 50% of the cost per guest. 55-30 days prior, 75% of the cruise cost per guest will still be charged. 29 days or less prior to sailing, the entire cost will still be charged. Please remember, the details for other categories are listed on the website, as is this information that I mentioned is specifically for Concierge Staterooms, and more details for this are listed online too.
Guests are encouraged to purchase
Vacation Protection Insurance when they book, especially if health or other issues might cause cancellation of the trip.
However, hopefully you'll be booked and ready to set sail for what is sure to be the most magical adventure out there, Jamie! It always is special when my family sails with Disney, so I just know you're in for an amazing trip too!
Have fun planning, and please stop back again with any other questions as you continue to count down to the big sail date! We're happy to help!
