Andrew,
Thanks for asking your question to planDisney!
Finding park hours is easy once you know where to go. To find the
Hours & Events Calendar, you can start at the Walt Disney World home page and hover your mouse over
"Parks & Tickets". From the pop-up menu, on the right you will see
"Park Hours" with today's date. Just click on
"More Hours" to get to the calendar page.
From this page you can change the date, filter down to just the venues you want to review, and even toggle over from a 1-day view to a 5-day view.
You should also know that Disney does not officially publish the park hours more than about 90 days out. So, for your December trip they won't have those hours out until around September or October. But you can find historical operating times by searching online, and they can be a pretty good gauge of what to expect.
BONUS TIP #1The opening and closing hours are conveniently displayed, as well as the times of some major parade and firework events. But an often-overlooked feature on that page is a listing of any venues that are scheduled to be closed for refurbishment. Make sure you take note of these, so that you can plan out your day accordingly.
BONUS TIP #2
I prefer to use the 5-day view of the calendar, as it helps me plan out multiple days at once. It can also help me see if I should consider switching what parks to visit on what days, due to special events and other operating schedules.
Please feel free to
write me back directly if you have any follow-up questions.
Have a Magical Vacation!
