Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Megan! Thanks for stopping by with your question about
Extra Magic Hours. It’s one of my favorite
benefits of being a Disney Resort hotel guest!
The
Interactive Parks Calendar is a great tool that helps you keep track of theme park operating hours, special ticketed events and those all-important Extra Magic Hours. It’s always a good thing when you can enjoy extra time at the theme parks before they open or after they close to the general public!
Park schedules are usually released with about six months anticipation. Once you’re six months away from your magical vacation, you can see schedules in a few formats. 5-day views, day views or by the month. The month view is always my go-to. If you choose the 5-day or the daily view, you will be able to see listed times for firework shows and parades.
Megan, did you know that you can start making
dining reservations 180-days before your visit? I like to check park schedules to have a better idea of where those magical hours where be held, so I can decide where I should make my reservations and maximize my time at the park for each day.
I hope this information is helpful to you. If you have any additional questions, feel free to stop back in to see us!
Have a magical visit!
Veronica
