Ahoy, Melanie!
Congratulations on your first Disney Cruise vacation! I think a three-night Halloween on the High Seas sailing is the perfect choice for your trial run with Captain Mickey. The ship will be decorated with BOO-tiful decor, and you'll enjoy some SPOOK-tacular events like Mickey's Mouse-Querade Party!
The final morning of your vacation will definitely be bittersweet because you will not want to leave the Disney Dream behind! Disembarkation typically begins by 7:30 a.m. for those Guests taking advantage of "Express Walk Off." This early departure is offered to Guests who want to get off the ship quickly while carrying their own luggage. Disembarkation for other Guests typically begin after 7:30 a.m. with all Guests off the ship by 9:15 a.m. Breakfast is served the final morning in the main dining rooms and coordinates with the seating you were assigned during your sailing. Guests with Main Seating eat around 6:45 a.m. while Second Seating Guests eat around 8:00 a.m. It's a wonderful opportunity to eat one last meal with your fabulous dining team and fuel up for the trip home!
Disney Cruise Line does offer continuous transportation to the Orlando International Airport from the time the ship is cleared until all Guests have disembarked. If you purchase the round trip vouchers, you will be able to hop on a motor coach once you've enjoyed your "See Ya' Real Soon" breakfast. If your airline participates in the
Onboard Airline Check-In program, you'll have a few perks to take advantage of to make your departure seamless like receiving your boarding passes onboard, checking your luggage on the ship and skipping baggage claim in the cruise terminal. Once you arrive at the airport, you'll be able to bypass check-in and head to security. You will need to pre-register once onboard if you are eligible.
Good luck with your magical plans!
