Finally able to score an ADR before park opening!! Are Photopass photographers out before opening? Of course we want pictures in front of castle. Our ressie is at 8:15 with a 9:00 opening, how early can we get in? Is it best to walk from Contemporary? Thx!

Hi Jennifer,

I LOVE being in the park before official opening time!

Generally the PhotoPass photographers are not set up before park opening. I would not count on being able to get PhotoPass pictures at that time. However, you will likely encounter several other cast members on your way from the front gate to the Castle. You can bring your own camera and ask one of them to take some shots for you. I've done this several times myself and found that most cast are happy to oblige.

You will be able to enter the park about 15 minutes prior to your pre-opening dining reservation. If I were staying at the Contemporary, I would walk to the Magic Kingdom, but that's really just a matter of personal preference. The monorail should be running by 7:30, which is about when you should leave the hotel..
