Hello, My fiance and I are traveling to Disney July 6th through the 13th for our honeymoon :) Last year we came to Disney during spring break week (approx. 2nd week in March) and I was wondering how the crowd levels will compare between March and July?

    Hi Nicole!

Congratulations on your upcoming nuptials!  And what better place to honeymoon than at the Most Magical Place on Earth!

Having experienced the "spring break" phenomenon at Walt Disney World last year, I can say with certainty that your July honeymoon will NOT be a similar experience.  Yes, crowd levels are higher during the summer than at non peak times, but they will pale in comparison to the spring break crowd.  You will have long wait times for attractions, but this can be circumvented by having a "touring" plan in hand.  Also, you can save yourself great stress by making sure that you've completed your dining reservations beforehand.  Familiarize yourself with the Walt Disney World website, which lists park hours with Extra Magic Hours as well.  In that way, you can plan which parks to visit and maximize your time.

Another great tool is the crowd calendar at the independent website  It will give you an accurate idea of which parks are crowded on what days, and you can plan accordingly.

Hope this helps you plan your magical vacation!

Hi there! The Disney Parks have been a part of my life since I was a little girl. Introducing my children, husband, and family to all the magic that Walt Disney World can offer has led to countless moments with Mickey and Friends, Disney Vacation Club membership and fun on the high seas with Disney Cruise Lines! Our vacations are usually centered around a visit to the Most Magical Place on Earth, and I am super excited to help you plan and create magical moments for you and your families!
