    My fiance & I are taking our 1st trip to WDW for our honeymoon this Dec. We've looked into the h.m. registry and we're wondering if people just get you gift cards can you still apply them towards vac. package even though you pay it off 45 days ahead?

    Congratulations! I wish you and your husband-to-be all the best!

    Gift cards can be applied toward the balance due on your vacation.  However, they cannot be applied retroactively.  If you receive any early wedding presents, you can use them to pay for your honeymoon.  However, you cannot use them upon check-in to receive a 'refund' of money you already paid for the trip.

    And of course you will still be able to use them to purchase food or souvenirs on your honeymoon.
