My fiance and I are planning on visiting WDW with our 2 year old daughter in March 2013. What kind of activities are there for a 2 year old and what can we expect during that time of year?

    Hi Amanda!

March is a great time to visit the Walt Disney World resort!  The weather is starting to warm up, in preparation for the summer, so you will find highs during the day in the mid to high 70's and evening temperatures of low 60's.  Perfect weather to enjoy the many attractions in the theme parks.

You would be surprised at the selection of attractions that you can take your two year old on. Most of the rides at Magic Kingdom are toddler friendly, save of course for Space Mountain, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad and Splash Mountain. At Epcot, she will be able to enjoy Spaceship Earth, Living with the Land, Journey into Imagination with Figment, Three Caballeros and all the awesome shows that are offered at World Showcase. At Hollywood Studios, she will truly love Disney Junior--Live on Stage, Voyage of the Little Mermaid, Muppets 3D and Beauty and the Beast Live on Stage! In Animal Kingdom, she will enjoy Finding Nemo--The Musical, It's Tough to be a Bug and of course Festival of the Lion KIng! These are only a handful of the attractions in which she can ride with you! You can also enjoy character dining with your daughter at the various parks. If she loves Mickey, you can reserve dining at Chef Mickey's at the Contemporary resort. She will have a blast enjoying the buffet and meeting Mickey and friends! Also she can meet and greet with Mickey at Camp Minnie Mickey at Animal Kingdom!!

Hope this helps you plan your wonderful vacation!

Introducing my children, husband, and family to all the magic that Walt Disney World can offer has led to countless moments with Mickey and Friends, Disney Vacation Club membership and fun on the high seas with Disney Cruise Lines! Our vacations are usually centered around a visit to the Most Magical Place on Earth, and I am super excited to help you plan and create magical moments for you and your families!
