Hi, my fiance and I are going to Disney for our honeymoon next month. We have dinner reservations in Epcot for 5:40 but we want to go to the Extra Magic Hours in Hollywood Studios that start at 7. How long is the bus ride from Epcot to Hollywood Studios?

Hi Lindsey! I wish I'd thought of honeymooning at Walt Disney World -- you're going to have a fabulous time! You can travel to Hollywood Studios from Epcot by foot, bus or boat. The bus is the quickest option -- the ride takes about 15 minutes. However, if you're dining at a restaurant in the World Showcase, walking all the way back to the front of the park to catch the bus takes quite a bit of time, and the boat is probably a better option. You can catch the boat to Hollywood Studios at the International Gateway entrance located between France and the United Kingdom pavilions. The ride takes 25 to 30 minutes since the boat stops at several resort hotels on the way. (You can also walk from the International Gateway to Hollywood Studios, but it's not much quicker than the boat ride, and personally I prefer to save my walking for the parks.)

Unless you move your reservation to an earlier time, you probably won't be able to eat at Epcot and get to Hollywood Studios right at 7 p.m. when the Extra Magic Hours begin, but you can enter the park at any time during those Extra Magic Hours.

Have a magical honeymoon! Come visit us again at the Moms Panel if you have more questions! We'd love to help!
