    Me and my fiancé are getting married next month. We are spending our honeymoon at Disney; we are not using a disney resort. Are we still able to get a celebration pin if we are not using a Disney resort?

    Hi there Crystal, and welcome to planDisney!

    First of all, I'd like to say congratulations on your upcoming wedding! Having just been through the entire process of tying the knot with the help of Disney's Fairy Tale Weddings, there's really nothing like celebrating this major moment in your lives together like a honeymoon at any of the Disney Destinations. We spent the week after our big day just enjoying our time at Walt Disney World Resort, even when we weren't necessarily staying at a Disney Resort Hotel. 

    You'll be happy to hear that couples can currently request a complimentary purple "Happily Ever After" celebration pin from the Cast Members you'll find at any Disney Resort Hotel front desk, Guest Relations and even select merchandise locations. There might even be roaming Cast Members outside of these locations who have celebration buttons handy for guests who would like one - just as long as they are available. There's no guarantee that every location will necessarily have the button you're looking for; I remember that there was a time last year when it seemed to be very difficult to find a Happily Ever After button but I highly recommend asking at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, simply due to the fact that so many weddings frequently take place here at Disney's Wedding Pavilion adjacent to Franck's Studio.

    Be sure to check out some of the great Honeymoon Tips courtesy of Disney's Fairy Tale Weddings team, and I highly recommend the experiences you'll find as part of the Enchanting Extras Collection. My husband and I snagged a Capture Your Moment reservation in Magic Kingdom Park which was a great way to dress nicely for our very own private photo session after our wedding; I highly recommend having a booking that takes place as early as possible for fewer guests in the background of your shots as well as purchasing Memory Maker in order to have access to all of the photos captured soon afterward!

    There are a lot of other great ways to treat each other during your honeymoon, from including a celebration cake with your meal to a specialty cruise that starts before sunset and ends with fireworks bursting high above you; come back to planDisney again soon for more tips, tricks or advice on planning these romantic moments to share together!
