My fiancé and I booked a last-minute honeymoon to Disney because our other plans fell through. with 3 weeks to plan, and no reservations for restaurants or tours available, is there anything I can find to add to the day?

    Hi Laura!  Welcome to planDisney!

First of all, a HUGE congratulations to you and your husband-to-be from all of us here at planDisney! My husband and I actually got married at Walt Disney World Resort and I think it is a first-rate choice for a magical honeymoon! While you're right that many Guests have been booking their dining reservations and tours for a month or two that doesn't mean you're out of luck by any means.  Plus, just BEING at The Most Magical Place on Earth is incredible, and between the gorgeously themed Resorts, private rides high in the sky on the Disney Skyliner, and nightly fireworks like Disney Enchantment and Harmonious, I think you'll be pleasantly surprised with how much pixie dust surrounds you even without adding on special extras.

That's not to say I don't have some amazing ideas though!!  Laura, check out the Enchanting Extras Collection, a part of the Walt Disney World Resort website dedicated to making your vacation even more memorable.  Maybe you want to purchase a Capture Your Moment session at Disney's Hollywood Studios?  This is like a private photoshoot dedicated to making honeymoon memories that will last a lifetime!

You might also want to look at purchasing tickets for Drawn to Life Presented by Cirque du Soleil® & Disney. This mind-blowing show, located at Disney Springs, literally left my jaw hanging open.  You and your husband can "ooh and ahh" together as you watch these amazing artists do the impossible.

If you really want to slow things down after the hustle and bustle of the wedding, check out the Massage for Two at The Grand Floridian Spa.  Here, you and the hubby can be pampered and recharge!

When it comes to dining reservations my best advice is to keep checking your My Disney Experience mobile app for reservations that might open up.  As reservation dates creep closer Guests often cancel, and you'll find that some of the most sought-after reservations become available even the morning of.

I hope you can use some of these ideas with your soon-to-be-husband, Laura! Have a magical honeymoon!

When we're not taking in the enchanting experiences of the parks, we're home in Massachusetts, probably planning our next trip! Learn More About Ashley
