Welcome aboard, Christine! It sounds like you have one very magical cruise with Disney coming up soon! If it's been a few years since you last sailed with Captain Mickey and his crew, you'll be so thrilled with the new experiences and venues that Disney has incorporated on all four of their magical ships!
Balloons are not allowed on the ships, and are in fact, on the
prohibited items list. If you are asking about latex due to an allergy concern, I suggest you contact the
Special Services Team with Disney Cruise Line as soon as possible before sailing to discuss with them the allergy and make arrangements for any special circumstances that may be necessary. Normally, their onboard kitchens use latex-free gloves, however, it is important that you alert the Special Services Team should you have a severe allergy, so that extra precautions can be taken. They are wonderful at helping guests on a case by case basis regarding allergies.
After you've spoken with them, take some extra time to browse all of the exciting activities and adventures that await you on your cruise, Christine! Since you've already sailed with Disney before, you'll get earlier access to online check-in, at 90 or more days prior, depending on Castaway Club level, so you can book some of those fun extras like special character interactions,
Port Adventures, and
Adult Exclusive dining, before first time guests! Be sure to make a list of your "must-do's" before your window for online check-in begins so you're ready to book your favorites then!
Have a magical cruise!
