A few years ago we stayed at Carribean Beach hotel and a lifeguard came up to my son in the morning at let him ride the boat and chase the pirates off the lake. It was very random and he loved it. Do they pick someone random each day or can you request it?

How neat! I bet your son had a great time.

What happened to you that morning was what Disneyphiles refer to as a little sprinkling of pixie dust. Disney is known for creating magic, and sometimes they do so in unexpected ways. This isn't a scheduled event that you could sign up to do; rather, it was a spontaneous bit of kindness and 'pixie dust' thrown your way. And really, its rarity makes it all the more special! Your son experienced something that precious few other children ever will.

Bask in the glory of that, and keep your eyes open - maybe another form of pixie dust will come your way on the next vacation!
