Welcome to planDisney, Amparo!
We had the opportunity to visit
Disneyland Resort again this summer, and it was an incredible experience. We spent the day at
Disney California Adventure this past July. We opened the morning with an exhilarating ride on
Guardians of the Galaxy: Mission BREAKOUT! and ended with an emotional journey watching
World of Color- ONE. Let's take a look at
theme park tickets.
As you know, Disneyland Resort does utilize a
tiered ticketing system for standard one-day theme park tickets. According to the official policy, the amount paid for a wholly unused ticket can be applied to an upgrade for a ticket of equal or greater value. A separate theme park reservation for the new date will be required. Ticket upgrade requests can be made at a
Disneyland Resort Guest Relations Location. So you should be able to upgrade your ticket, but I recommend you verify over the phone with the
Disneyland Ticket number before your visit. As far as the expiration date on tickets, it will depend on when your tickets were purchased. You should be able to find your expiration date in the Disneyland Confirmation email for your ticket purchase. Generally, the expiration dates for unused tickets are a year or more from the purchase date. A Disneyland Ticket Cast Member could also help you determine the exact expiration date if you are unable to access it through your email. I hope this helps you plan your ultimate Disneyland Resort adventure!
