We have a few character dining experiences scheduled. Typically how long are the dining experiences? Thanks

    Hi, Jennifer!

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Mom Panel with your question. I'm so glad to hear that you've scheduled some Character Dining experiences during your Walt Disney World Resort stay. Dining with Disney characters is so much fun for the entire family! Between enjoying your meal and interacting with the characters (and posing for photos), my family typically spends about 1-1/2 hours at a character dining location. At some locations you may spend a little less time (those offering buffets or family-style dining) while at others you may be there a bit longer (a la carte dining where you order from the menu). It also depends on the number of characters visiting at a particular location since you will of course want to meet them all -- sometimes it may take a while for them to rotate around to all the Guests seated in the dining room.

I hope this helps you plan your Disney time, Jennifer. Please let me know if I can offer any additional help or advice as you continue planning.

    Wishing you a magical vacation!
